I understand that navigating the challenges of adolescence can be overwhelming, and that's why I'm here to offer support. As an experienced counselor I am trained to provide guidance, emotional support, and practical strategies to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

By seeking counseling services, school students can experience numerous benefits. Firstly, a counselor can create a safe and confidential space where students can freely express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns without judgment. This can be especially valuable during times of stress, anxiety, or when dealing with difficult life transitions.
A variety of therapeutic approaches are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Some of the therapies commonly used include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior; solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), which helps students develop practical solutions to their problems; and mindfulness-based approaches, which teach students techniques to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

Consent
It's important to note that in Australia, the age of consent for counseling services may vary depending on the state. As of our knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the age of consent for counseling without parental permission is generally 16 years old in most states except SA & TAS consent is 17 years old. However, it is recommended to check the specific age requirements in your state, as laws and regulations can change over time.
No referral is necessary. Students can directly reach out to us or ask their school administration for assistance in accessing our services. We maintain strict confidentiality to ensure privacy and build trust with our students.
