1. The nature and content of your discussions with your therapist are of a  confidential nature, however, if you disclose information regarding the abuse of a child, this information may be passed on to the appropriate authorities.

2. If the therapist has reason to believe that you may be in danger of physically hurting yourself or somebody else, then other people (such as family members, emergency services or friends), may need to be advised in order to protect you or others.

3. If legal proceedings are taken out against Life In Balance Group, or any of our therapist or yourself relating to your situation, in extremely rare circumstances your file could be subpoenaed by a court of law. Should this occur you would be informed.

4. In order to comply with professional and ethical requirements, our counsellors are required to undertake regular supervision with a suitable qualified professional. On such occasions, names and other identifying details will not be disclosed and anonymity is assured.

please note 24 hours notice of cancellation is required otherwise a full fee will be charged. It is appreciated that payment is transferred within 24 hours of the session.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, e-mail address, password, computer and connection information and purchase history.
